Senior Android Developer

Role Overview

• Improve the experience of applications with millions of users
• Contribute to and participate in technical decisions such as architecture, tooling, and processes
• Ensure performance and analyze production data to drive improvements
• Review team pull requests
• Participate in the Android community
• Monitor Crashlytics
• Work on fixes, improvements, and new projects from a prioritized backlog, always taking care not to impact the sites' purchase flow
• Coordinate and clarify requirements with the main client/business areas
• Track the activity lifecycle from analysis and fixes through to production release
• Ensure product quality, overseeing the development pipeline, QA/staging, and production environments.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Jetpack, Gradle, and Kotlin
• Principles of Clean Code and SOLID
• Experience with CI/CD — preferably GitHub Actions
• Development with unit tests and Espresso UI tests
• Experience with Clean Architecture and MVVM
• LiveData
• RxJava and Coroutines
• iOS: Knowledge of the Swift stack
