Role Overview
- Provide consultation on complex tax and estate planning concepts
- Conduct detailed discovery to understand client issues
- Develop customized plans integrating financial planning and tax strategies
- Present plans to clients and advisors
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide specialized advice
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and market trends
- Maintain relationships with external advisors and professional service providers
- Deliver presentations and webinars
Requirements
- Chartered Accounting (CA) designation, or Legal designation (LLB)
- Bilingual in French and English
- Completion of the CICA In Depth Tax Course or similar course of study
- Expertise in personal, trusts, estates and corporate tax (5 to 7 year minimum)
- Strong knowledge in civil law with understanding of common law
- Ability to apply specialized knowledge in planning solutions
