About this role
Role Overview
- Delivery of innovative floorstanding XRD products
- Responsible for implementation of firmware
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team
- Design and implement new features in instrument control software
- Test the correct functioning of the software
- Assist in test automation
- Ensure robust software design for reliable and maintainable programs
- Acquire, maintain and disseminate knowledge of up-to-date software technology
Requirements
- Strongly result-driven with respect to customer products
- Ability to think and act as an end user with emphasis on key product quality indicators
- A drive to work in a high-tech environment with the ambition to develop products
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Experience working with Agile development processes
- Experience with real-time embedded software
- Familiarity with test methodologies
- Fluent in English and prepared to (learn to) understand Dutch
- Computer science (BSc)
- Experience with ANSI C, C#, agile methodologies and test-driven development
- Understanding of Software principles like Clean Code and SOLID
