Collaborate with electrical, firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, test, and quality engineers to develop and launch features for life-saving products and accessories.
Analyze and debug circuits across a wide range of electronic modules (MCUs, power supplies, high voltage, ECG, audio, cellular, Wi-Fi, and more).
Instrument, operate, and interpret data from oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment to support development of new features, identify failure mechanisms, stress-test designs, and characterize trade-offs.
Design schematics and PCB layouts for development boards, rapid prototypes, and test fixtures.
Support benchtop bring-up of new PCBAs. Validate electronics for production readiness.
Design and execute test suites, document results, write technical reports, analyze data, and present data-driven conclusions.
Perform soldering, rework, and hardware modifications during prototyping phases.
Implement minor firmware adjustments to support hardware tests or enable debug features.
Analyze firmware-hardware interactions to develop features, identify issues, and recommend design improvements.
Support products in the field through cross-functional debugging spanning electrical failure analysis, system log reviews, and collaboration with the quality, manufacturing, and customer success teams.
Support ongoing manufacturing of products through BOM improvements, alternate component selection and qualification, and debug of failed devices from the manufacturing line.
