Role Overview
- Develop and maintain electrical basis of design and technical specifications for power distribution
- Review and approve electrical design packages from partners and consultants
- Perform engineering studies and analyses for design decisions
- Partner with external teams to improve construction efficiency and productization
- Evaluate electrical equipment vendors and build a diversified vendor base
- Drive standardization of electrical designs across sites
- Influence industry specifications for high-density electrical infrastructure
- Provide technical oversight during construction and commissioning phases
Requirements
- 8+ years of electrical engineering experience in mission-critical facilities
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field; PE licensure valued but not required
- Hands-on experience with electrical construction documents, single-line diagrams, and equipment specifications
- Proficient in power systems analysis and tools like SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower
- Understanding of critical power topologies (2N, N+1, distributed redundant, block redundant)
- Direct experience with electrical equipment manufacturers
- Ability to communicate with technical peers and non-specialist stakeholders
- Results-oriented attitude with a willingness to take on various responsibilities
