Provide project management and Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) engineering support for refinery process operations
Manage multiple small capital and expense projects concurrently, typically ranging from $20,000 to $5,000,000
Apply project management skills in all phases of project engineering: development, justification, design, construction, and start-up from conception to closeout
Define scope, develop cost estimates and schedules, and secure funding approval from management for small capital and expense projects
Prepare Decision Support Packages (DSP’s) and present to leadership
Collaborate with stakeholders including Maintenance, Construction, and Turnaround teams to support planning and execution
Engage in area HAZOP and LOPA reviews and incident investigations
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required
Minimum of 2 years’ post degree engineering experience in the refining or petrochemical industry is preferred
Valid driver's license required
Familiarity with Smart Instrumentation (SI ) and electrical analysis software is preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
Ability to manage competing priorities in dynamic refining environment
Must be able to physically perform the essential job functions including wearing all required PPE, working at elevated heights, confined space entry, fall protection, and respirator usage
