About this role
Role Overview
- Senior Associates play an integral client-facing project or work-stream leadership role.
- Expect to spend their time with a heavy focus on material client interaction through all projects, project management, intensive data-analysis and the identification for the “so-what’s” therein.
- Create compelling client-ready presentations.
- Focus on developing Analysts and Coachees.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or commensurate work experience
- Minimum 2 -5 years of relevant experience in consulting, finance, student finance, higher education, and/or accounting
- Previous experience implementing Student Information Systems like Workday, Banner, Peoplesoft Campus Solutions, or Oracle
- Willingness to travel as needed for project assignments
- Must have current Workday Student and Student Financials certification
- Functional expertise in student financials systems, regulations and processes
- Understanding of higher ed student financials requirements across various types of institutions
- Demonstrated knowledge in academic structure, organizational assessment, and strategic planning
- Exceptional advanced Excel skills (including modeling and macros)
- An MBA or other relevant advanced degree
- Expertise in the HR and/or Financials function, processes and best practices
- Experience as a functional application specialist
- Excellent communication skills

- The ability to establish credibility in the eyes of senior-level university executives on the basis of expertise, maturity, and professionalism
- The ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project-management and technical dimensions

- The ability to manage multiple projects of differing scale and duration
- Strong analytical skills used to translate information from meetings into documentation that can be shared with meeting participants and project teams
- A desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies
