About this role
Role Overview
Provide Tier‑2 / Tier‑3 operational support for SailPoint IdentityIQ and Identity Security Cloud (ISC).
Monitor and troubleshoot SailPoint batch jobs, aggregations, workflows, provisioning tasks, and certification campaigns.
Perform root‑cause analysis for job failures, provisioning errors, identity correlation issues, and connector failures.
Support User Access Reviews (UARs), certifications, remediation tracking, and campaign closure within SLAs.
Manage SailPoint integrations and connectors (e.g., ServiceNow, LDAP, JDBC, HR sources, file‑based feeds).
Validate entitlement catalogs, roles, and access metadata with application owners.
Support incident, problem, and change management processes.
Maintain audit evidence, logs, and compliance artifacts (SOX, internal audits).
Create and update operational SOPs, runbooks, and FAQs.
Coordinate with Tier‑1 monitoring teams and escalate issues as required.
Leverage AI or analytics‑based tools to assist with faster triage of SailPoint job failures and provisioning errors.
Contribute to automation of repetitive operational tasks to reduce manual effort and error rates.
Use data insights to improve access governance, review effectiveness, and operational metrics.
Partner with IAM Ops, Access Ops, Platform Ops, application teams, and Cybersecurity stakeholders.
Mentor junior team members and promote operational best practices.
Requirements
8–12+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, with strong focus on SailPoint operations.
Hands‑on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (mandatory); exposure to Identity Security Cloud preferred.
Strong knowledge of: Access provisioning & de‑provisioning, Identity lifecycle management, Role‑Based Access Control (RBAC), Access certifications & recertifications.
Proven experience troubleshooting SailPoint workflows, connectors, aggregations, and task failures.
Working knowledge of SQL, logs, audit events, and IAM troubleshooting techniques.
Experience working in a global operations / follow‑the‑sun model.
Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
