About this role
Role Overview
Act as the product owner, responsible for the product and its usage
Capture and uphold the voice of the customer throughout all phases of the product lifecycle
Own the product specification
Lead development and modification projects for new products and technologies
Manage product development to meet performance, budget, product recurring cost, quality, and delivery deadlines for customer or internal programs
Ensure definition and execution of the development plan (test benches, tooling, V&V processes) in alignment with program commitments
Take responsibility for product verification and validation
Plan and coordinate cross-functional activities within the company: logistics, testing, production
Serve as the project/product interface with internal and external customers and provide project reporting at the company level
Identify and drive project risk mitigation plans
Lead technical product proposals and manage associated customer relationships
Advocate the customer's voice and valve product requirements in support of the product strategy
Contribute to knowledge capitalization and the continuous improvement of processes and products in their use
Work closely in partnership with designers/engineers
Be a key driver of customer-focused vision and team performance against customer expectations
Requirements
Degree in engineering with a specialization or strong emphasis in mechanical, electromechanical or mechatronics
Minimum of 6 years' experience in a similar role
Excellent listening skills and the ability to persuade stakeholders
Able to synthesize complex information and motivated by challenges
Proficient in MS Project
Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and deployment is a plus
Fluent English is required; German is a plus
