Generates metrics to measure overall/key areas of equipment performance (KPIs) and analysis of such metrics would be used to drive effective improvements across the operation
Drives continuous improvement efforts to meet Automation systems health goals, as well as emerging capability needs
Serves as expert for a designated set of automation AMHS controls systems
Support Intel's 24x7 high availability automation environment and be part of an on-call rotation group outside of normal business hours.
Requirements
A PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
Bachelor's degree 2+ years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree and 1+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as C, C++, or Python
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, including unit testing and software integration
Hands-on experience with software debugging and problem-solving in complex systems.
Experience with semiconductor High Volume Manufacturing processes.
AMHS Material Controls Systems (MCS) experience
Proficiency in Linux, Unix and Perl or Python for data extraction and analysis
Knowledge of automated material handling systems (AMHS) hardware and control systems
Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design of Experiments (DOE), and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
Understanding of theoretical and practical aspects of project management, with knowledge of project management tools and techniques
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments.
Familiarity with middleware fundamentals and automated material handling systems for manufacturing.
