About this role
Role Overview
- Lead the migration, configuration, and maintenance of Cisco ASA and Firepower systems.
- Design and manage F5 BIG-IP solutions, focusing on load balancing and application security.
- Implement and manage micro-segmentation policies within VMware NSX environments.
- Architect strategies to transition legacy Cisco ASA rulesets to next-gen firewalls.
- Act as the highest escalation point for complex network outages and security breaches.
- Provide exceptional customer support and collaborate with service managers.
Requirements
- Expert level experience in network security engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco ASA and Firepower Threat Defense.
- Deep experience with Palo Alto NGFW features.
- Proficiency in F5 BIG-IP, including iRules development.
- Hands-on experience with VMware NSX.
- Mastery of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and deep packet inspection.
- CCNP Security – Required.
- PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer) – Required.
- Certification in Firepower or ASA is a significant plus.
