Define and execute the strategy for P&C advanced analytics that aligns with the business and enhances understanding of the Zelis workforce
Serve as the primary data science leader for HR, partnering with Senior Leadership, P&C Business Partners, and other stakeholders to influence data-driven workforce strategy
Identify key workforce and talent-related questions; frame hypotheses and identify which metrics matter to business leaders; workforce data to business outcomes
Establish a unified data ecosystem to enable comprehensive organizational health measurement
Design and deploy predictive models (e.g., attrition risk, workforce planning, engagement drivers) leveraging statistical modeling, machine learning, and scenario analysis
Develop business intelligence dashboard development, data visualization, user experience, data engineering, and leverage effective partnerships with technology
Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
Mine and integrate data across multiple sources (HRIS, engagement surveys, performance, recruiting, financial, and external benchmarks) and ensure data quality, integrity, and appropriate governance
Champion a culture of evidence-based decision-making and ensure end-users understand the value of people analytics
Drive adoption of data-driven tools and dashboards across P&C and leaders
Upskill P&C partners on interpreting and leveraging analytics
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Human Resource, Statistics, or related field preferred
12-15+ years of experience in people analytics, data science, or advanced analytics; HR experience required
Proven experience building predictive models and translating insights into business impact
Strong expertise in data visualization tools, with Sigma experience preferred
Experience integrating and analyzing data across multiple enterprise systems
Demonstrated ability to lead transformation from manual reporting to automated, scalable analytics solutions
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
