Perform hands-on testing, including both manual and automation testing, to validate application functionality, integrations, and performance
Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using Karate for API and service-level testing
Execute API testing to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and system interoperability
Use Postman for manual API testing, validation, and exploratory testing
Review code, test results, and requirements with a critical mindset, actively challenging assumptions and identifying potential risks or defects
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other QA team members within Agile delivery teams
Document test cases, defects, and results clearly and thoroughly, ensuring traceability and transparency

2+ years of relevant professional experience
Proven hands-on testing experience, including both manual and automated testing
Strong Java experience, particularly as it relates to testing and automation
Demonstrated experience with API testing
Experience using Karate for automation testing
Hands-on experience with Postman for manual testing
Strong critical-thinking skills, with the ability to review and challenge code, designs, and test outcomes constructively
Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments
Previous software development experience, enabling deeper collaboration with engineering teams (nice-to-have)
Experience testing enterprise-scale or distributed systems (nice-to-have)
Exposure to financial services or other regulated technology environments (nice-to-have)
