Role Overview
- Act as an IT Auditor in support of statutory auditors
- Secure the technology environment that produces financial information
- Assess the reliability of information systems (IS)
- Audit IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC)
- Extract complex data from financial databases
- Create dashboards to present audit findings
- Map financial data flows and analyze associated risks
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent (e.g., business school, engineering school, or specialized Master’s)
- 2–5 years' experience in a similar role in an audit firm or in IT internal control
- Proficiency with ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Sage)
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data analytics tools (Alteryx, Power BI, or ACL/IDEA)
- Basic knowledge of Python or VBA is an asset
- Solid financial knowledge (understanding of accounting cycles)
- Familiarity with internal control and security frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001)
- CISA certification or a certification in Data Science is a strong plus
