About this role
Role Overview
- Design, develop, and own end‑to‑end data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and large‑scale data products
- Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of Data Lakehouse architectures using AWS services
- Build and operate large‑scale data processing solutions using Apache Spark on AWS EMR
- Develop and orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow
- Implement and manage data lakes using AWS Glue, Iceberg tables, and cloud object storage
- Enable analytical access through Amazon Athena and support downstream reporting in PowerBI
- Define and improve data models and engineering standards across the platform
- Review technical solutions and mentor other engineers
Requirements
- Strong experience in data engineering within enterprise environments
- Advanced SQL skills
- Solid understanding of analytical and dimensional data modeling
- Hands‑on experience with Data Lakehouse or modern data platform concepts
- Proven experience with AWS data services (EMR, Glue, Athena, S3-based data lakes)
- Strong experience with Apache Spark
- Solid Python skills for ETL development and automation
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data pipelines
- Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication
