System Test Engineer, 4-8 Years

Role Overview

• Perform system‑level V&V activities aligned with the V‑model
• Analyze system, software, and interface requirements
• Ensure requirement coverage and traceability
• Execute vehicle‑level testing
• Validate system behavior during various conditions
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using CAPL and Python
• Execute manual and automated test cases using Vector tools
• Prepare and maintain test setups including hardware and software
• Support customer acceptance testing
• Log, track, and manage defects using issue management tools

Requirements

• 4-8 years of experience as a System Test Engineer
• Strong understanding of CAN and CAN-FD protocols
• Hands-on experience with UDS
• EDR system validation experience
• Experience with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANStress)
• Practical experience in test automation scripting using CAPL and Python
• Good understanding of automotive embedded systems
• Familiarity with requirements management tools such as CodeBeamer
• Experience with configuration and issue management tools like PTC and JIRA
• Exposure to test and measurement equipment used in automotive labs and vehicle testing
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTech/ME/MTech)
