Define lender-side workflows for facility agreements, security documentation, conditions precedent, drawdown processes, covenant monitoring, and settlement coordination
Map the documentation lifecycle from term sheet through to facility agreement execution, security perfection, and post-settlement compliance
Design automation rules for conditions precedent tracking, security registration (PPSR, Land Registry), and covenant monitoring
Work with the development team to translate lending processes into product features, data models, and automation logic
Design templates for facility agreements, security documents, compliance certificates, and lender correspondence
Identify where lender-side teams waste the most time — syndicated facilities, multi-tranche documentation, security perfection — and prioritise those for automation
Support the GTM team with domain expertise for lender-side sales conversations, demos, and client onboarding
Validate product features with practising banking & finance lawyers acting for lenders
Requirements
6+ years of experience in banking & finance law acting for lenders (banks, non-bank lenders, private credit, or development finance)
Deep understanding of facility agreements, general security agreements, real property security, PPSR registration, and conditions precedent workflows
Experience with syndicated lending, multi-tranche facilities, or development finance (at least one)
Ability to articulate complex transaction workflows as structured, step-by-step processes
Strong attention to detail — lender documentation has no margin for error
Genuine interest in technology and willingness to learn how software is built
