About this role
Role Overview
- Designing, building, and operating data pipelines that ingest and integrate security and IT operations data
- Implementing scalable data pipelines for ingesting logs and events from various systems
- Developing ETL/ELT processes to clean, normalize, and join disparate data sources
- Monitoring data quality, completeness, and timeliness
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering or similar roles
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Advanced experience with Python for building ETL/ELT jobs, API integrations, data quality checks, and automation frameworks
- Solid experience with REST APIs and JSON
- Hands-on experience integrating data from security platforms and ITSM tools
- Experience designing data models and pipelines to support BI tools, preferably Tableau
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools
- Strong understanding of data engineering best practices
