Financial Analyst I – Investor Reporting

Role Overview

• Perform in-depth analysis of moderate to complex financial information and prepare reports to assist management in making long-term and short-term decisions.
• Provides overall support to management.
• Analyze moderate to complex financial information, including trends and forecasts.
• Prepare reports based on analysis and on historical information.
• Help develop policy and procedures of the department.
• Perform special tasks and analyses as requested by management.
• Keep abreast of current trends in the market and developments in the profession.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of capital markets and financial analysis
• Advanced knowledge of finance principles
• Advanced knowledge of treasury functions and overall cash flow of the business
• Advanced working knowledge of Excel
• Advanced working knowledge of the securitization methodologies
• AS System knowledge
• Financial forecasting
• Financial reporting
• Procedures for compiling financial data
• Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
• Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting
• Ability to establish priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook
• Analytical skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to analyze and resolve moderate to complex problems
• Preparing and reporting financial reports
• Using financial and/or accounting tools and information systems
• Working with government agencies (e.g., IRS, SEC)Proficient skills in SQL.
• Subject to stressful situations.
• Strong focus on providing quality service to internal and external customers.
• Work additional hours based on production demands requiring mandatory overtime.
• Flexible schedule with possibility of working long hours.
• 0-2 years in a Financial Analysis role Pref
• Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration, Accounting or Finance Required
