As a lead Analyst supporting the onboarding of Alternative Instruments in Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO)
Serve as a vital conduit between the product delivery teams and stakeholders
Ensure the efficient functioning of this key line of business
Interact daily with Alternative Investment Sponsors, clients, internal stakeholders, legal/compliance, and others
Develop a significant internal voice on behalf of the Alternative product set and the broader FFIO organization
Influence systems and architecture solution design based on complex requirements
Lead initiatives with diverse scope and complexity, acting as the primary interface between end users, product management, and systems organization
Collaborate with business partners to assess complex business requirements and translate them into effective solutions
Craft and implement tests that address business needs and ensure delivery of solutions to end users.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems
Five or more years of experience in Financial Services, with a strong understanding of investment instruments and financial markets
Proven experience with Private Equity, Private Debt, and other Alternative investment structures
Deep understanding of private market structures such as Limited Partnerships, REITs, BDCs, private lending funds, CDOs, and CLOs
Strong knowledge of asset management back-office operations, mutual fund accounting, complex fund structures, and derivatives
Hands-on experience with FIS InvestOne and SS&C Geneva accounting platforms
Ability to analyze complex and ambiguous issues, recommending creative solutions with clear and concise presentations
Proven expertise in various business analysis methodologies and techniques, including data analysis, use case development, story writing, user acceptance testing, and product documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; Communicates clearly, concisely and impactfully to influence others
Strong Microsoft Office skills especially in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
