About this role
Role Overview
Source, design, refine and execute enterprise level educational/youth development partnership and business development strategies that are relevant and scalable across the network.
Serve as a catalyst for positioning Ys as trusted community and school partners that support youth success and family engagement.
Build and advance growth strategy to expand Y impact and create sustainable revenue models.
Align with industry standards, federal and state priorities, and funding expectations to optimize opportunities and support network wide adoption and sustainability.
Endorse leading practices around local Y management and engagement with educational/youth development experts – including go to market approach, operating models, partnership lifecycle management, MOU execution and renewal and performance expectations and quality controls to launch and scale partnerships efficiently and consistently.
Partner with practice leadership, service delivery and emerging opportunities to align strategy, process, innovation, resource development and activation.
Develop infrastructure across the ecosystem to support educational/youth development partnerships at scale.
Develop and manage department budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and strong ROI.
Collaborate internally at YUSA to deliver integrated seamless support to local Ys.
Engage with external consultants to advance and accelerate the work.
Build partnerships with school districts, youth development experts, and educational stakeholders to drive new revenue streams.
Maintain and leverage CEO relationships for advocacy, influence and endorsement.
Establish metrics to measure effectiveness, participation, and impact of services provided to the network; use data and insights to drive continuous quality improvement.
Ensure services demonstrate clear value toward local Y organizational excellence and financial sustainability.
Partner across YUSA to ensure we are mitigating risk and exposure to YUSA as well as our local Ys.
Stay abreast of emerging issues that may impact the Y network.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher required in a relevant field such as Business, or related disciplines required
Advanced degree strongly preferred
Minimum of 12 years of experience required
Deep functional expertise and functional thought leadership
Oversees a department or function
Highly strategic and operational decision-making authority
Mid
to long-term strategic planning for department or functional area
Internal and external communications, executive level, high influence on department vision and strategy
Management-level autonomy; no daily supervision from manager; goal achievement is typically accomplished through performance of direct and/or indirect reports
