Senior Software Development Engineer, Test

Role Overview

• Lead key technical initiatives and collaborate across teams for product development and support.
• Take ownership of end-to-end test and implementation for automation suites for on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Engage in technical discussions with Engineers, Architects, Product Managers, and Designers.
• Ensure timely delivery of committed features and lead automation and testing of patches and hotfixes.
• Mentor team members in writing clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Conduct deep root cause analysis for product defects and performance issues.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
• Strong coding, analytical, debugging and troubleshooting skills in Python/Go and Bash scripting
• Comfortable in using tools
• JIRA, Github, Test framework in Python, GoLang
• Knowledge of Microservices, Public Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI etc.) and SaaS architecture.
• Handson experience with Hypervisors like ESXi and HyperV
• Good knowledge of Linux operating Systems
• Validated experience in Data Protection, Filesystem, NAS, Cloud, SaaS, and Platform.
• Problem-solver who can dive deep to solve complex problems/issues.
• Knowledge of agile/scrum methodologies
