As a Creative Investment Partner, you will work with Parrot Analytics and partner film funds to assess projects and help shape investment decisions.
Concept Assessment: you will evaluate scripts, treatments, and development materials submitted to partner funds and provide clear written assessments that inform greenlight and development decisions.
Project Evaluation: Working alongside Parrot Analytics’ global data and insights teams, the Creative Investment Partner will evaluate submitted projects and provide strategic recommendations on which stories should move forward into development or production investment.
Inclusion of Data: Your creative judgement will be complemented by Parrot Analytics’ global audience demand data and market intelligence, providing insight into how projects may resonate with audiences across regions and platforms.
Content Portfolio Creation: You will help identify projects with exceptional creative and cultural potential and elevate them for investment committee consideration. You will also contribute to shaping a balanced and strategically positioned slate, ensuring that supported projects combine distinctive storytelling with strong audience appeal.
Editorial: Where appropriate, you may also provide editorial insight and development feedback to help strengthen promising projects as they move through the funding process.
Arabic Domain Development: The role also involves maintaining a strong awareness of trends in Arabic-language cinema, emerging filmmakers, regional production activity, and international festival and distribution landscapes.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with strong creative taste, cultural literacy, and development judgement.
You may come from backgrounds such as:
Film or television development executive
Script editor or story consultant
Producer with significant development experience
Film fund or commissioning body evaluator
Festival programmer focused on Arab or international cinema
Strong candidates will have:
Professional experience in film or television development, production, or script evaluation
Deep familiarity with Arabic-language cinema and regional storytelling
Strong awareness of international film markets, festivals, and distribution pathways
The ability to evaluate scripts with both creative sensitivity and strategic perspective
Fluency in Arabic and English
Excellent written communication and analytical skills
