Role Overview
- Report and write daily legal news articles with speed, accuracy and strong news judgment
- Write clear, compelling and accurate headlines
- Adhere to Law360’s editorial standards, in-house style guidelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sources
- Collaborate closely with fellow reporters, editors and regional/global Law360 teams to support cohesive coverage
- Contribute to editorial meetings and support story development and newsroom planning
- Use approved LexisNexis tools, including AI-assisted technologies, responsibly and within governance frameworks to support editorial workflows
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development initiatives
Requirements
- Qualifications in journalism / media or related field
- Exceptional communication skills
- At least one year of full-time paid reporting experience.
- Demonstrated reporting and writing skills.
- Research, analytical & database skills
- Experience reporting for a business or legal audience (preferred)
