Role Overview
- Researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems
- Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical systems
- Perform various design studies on assigned fluid systems and mechanical components
- Perform liaison services to solve problems identified during operation and maintenance
- Conduct hands-on laboratory testing and analysis of testing results
- Develop technical recommendation submittals for customer approval
- Develop ShipAlt products and nuclear liaison inquiries
- Maintain, evaluate improvements to, and revise engineering drawings and technical manuals
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 2 years of relevant exempt experience
- Master's Degree and 0 year of relevant professional experience
