Represents organizational unit on administrative matters
Recommends, interprets, and/or implements company and internal administrative policies and procedures
Performs as a generalist a combination of administrative tasks in such functional areas as finance, human resources, purchasing, research and development
May prepare budgeting, project scheduling, and statistical reports as required
Building coordinator for Engineering, Technology, & Design (ET&D) owned buildings, acting as an onsite Facility and Capacity coordinator
Conducts monthly building walk thrus to assess, document, and assign seats (using excel and autocad floor plans)
Partners with Facilities Proper to successfully transition departments in and out of buildings, to support growth/attrition needs, ship locations, and/or temporary assignments
Partners with the Facilities maintenance team, acting as a third party to ensure Facility Service Requests are tracked, worked, and completed by assigned contractors
Serve as the primary point of contact for reporting all facility issues and concerns (e.g., fire drills, safety concerns, injuries/accidents, building access, and/or facility repairs/renovations)
Partner with the Safety/Security/Parking Solutions/Facilities teams to address site concerns and/or cascade important information on their behalf
Plan/manage equipment moves in and out of buildings with support of appropriate vendors or contractors
Support w/ set up video teleconferencing meetings for engineering departments (training will be made available for this task)
Requirements
Must Have Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant exempt experience; Master’s Degree and 1 years of relevant professional experience
One of the following may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:
NNS Apprentice School graduate
Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
