Role Overview
- Prepare general ledger reconciliations
- Create accounting journal entries and posting to ledger systems
- Assist in the planning process, bill and collect from external parties and intercompany affiliates
- Support financial audits
- Complete the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather financial data
Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience required
- Demonstrated experience in casualty insurance and/or reinsurance, accounting, or finance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products
- Four-year degree required in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
- Experience with US Statutory reporting
- Knowledge of automated accounting systems (SAP preferred)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
