Design and implement database structures to support business applications and ensure data integrity.
Install and configure database management systems.
Monitor database performance across various platforms and identify bottlenecks.
Implement and maintain database security measures.
Develop, implement, and manage backup and recovery strategies.
Diagnose and resolve database-related issues.
Work closely with application developers, system administrators, and other IT staff.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
At least 5 years of proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a related role.
Strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS) and database technologies.
Proficiency in SQL and database query optimization.
Experience with database backup and recovery procedures.
Familiarity with database monitoring and performance tuning tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Certifications in database technologies or related areas are a plus.
Experience with AWS cloud platforms and cloud-based services.
