Staff Software Engineer – Data Sources Core Services

Role Overview

• Design and develop internal cloud services and user-facing features
• Enhance the querying experience at scale
• Influence microservice architecture design
• Support reliability and scalability of data sources in Grafana Cloud
• Engineer new connection types to remote data sources
• Collaborate across teams and influence the roadmap

Requirements

• Professional experience as a backend engineer with expertise in cloud microservice architecture
• Systems design and development skills
• Go programming language expertise
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Typescript, and React is a plus
• Experience with AI/LLM-powered systems
• Strong experience with cloud architecture
• Knowledge of Docker, Jsonnet, and Terraform
• Solid experience with designing and developing software that runs in the Cloud
• Familiarity with being on-call and performing operational/SRE tasks
