About this role
Role Overview
Assist with the installation, configuration, and support of customer-site infrastructure, including networks, POS hardware, and related systems.
Support monitoring of system availability, performance, and connectivity at café, events, and micro market locations.
Respond to escalated issues from the IT Support team and follow documented troubleshooting procedures.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patching, upgrades, and equipment replacements under supervision.
Assist with basic network troubleshooting involving LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and connectivity issues.
Support inventory tracking, asset updates, and documentation for customer-site technology.
Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures as directed.
Work closely with Infrastructure Administrators and the IT Infrastructure Manager to learn best practices and standards.
Participate in customer-site deployments, upgrades, and technology refresh initiatives.
Follow security standards and operational procedures when working with infrastructure and customer environments.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and support efficiency.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
Foundational skills understanding required.
Foundational understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems and basic server or endpoint administration concepts.
Ability to follow troubleshooting processes and escalate issues appropriately.
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
Good communication skills with the ability to work with technical and non-technical users.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and documentation.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a service-driven environment.
Interest in growing into infrastructure, cloud, or network administration roles.
