Role Overview
- Promote engineering culture and propose simple, scalable solutions to complex problems
- Track and address technical debt and the engineering backlog
- Conduct POCs (proofs of concept) with new technologies or different use cases
- Mentor less experienced colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning
- Make intensive, mindful, and efficient use of AI solutions
- Encourage the use of AI within the team
Requirements
- Solid experience with Java and cloud computing solutions, with an emphasis on AWS.
- Experience developing with AI tools.
- Strong command of software engineering principles, including SOLID, Twelve-Factor App, KISS, among others.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including query optimization.
- Unit testing, mutation testing, automated testing, and performance testing.
- Design patterns and resilience patterns (Circuit Breaker and Retry).
- Containers.
- Observability (CloudWatch and Datadog).
- Knowledge of messaging and event-driven architectures (Kafka, SNS, and SQS).
