Technical-Functional Lead – Martech Data

Role Overview

• Operate across all phases of the solution lifecycle: Ideation → Design → Build → Quality → Deployment
• Act as the interface between the business and IT, driving the elicitation of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Orchestrate the maturation of business needs, fostering a deep understanding of processes.
• Lead interviews, workshops and stakeholder sessions to identify improvement opportunities and translate requests into clear, feasible specifications.
• Produce and maintain high-quality functional documentation, including process flows, acceptance criteria, business rules and technical requirements.
• Log epics, features and user stories in the appropriate tools.
• Support alignment across multidisciplinary teams, contributing to backlog creation and prioritization.
• Collaborate with project leaders, software engineers and technical teams to enable value-driven deliveries.
• Monitor requirement changes throughout the solution lifecycle, ensuring traceability and effective communication.
• Support the QA team in understanding acceptance criteria and expected test flows.
• Work on the continuous improvement of story writing, based on quality metrics (e.g., function point).

Requirements

• Strong experience with data, including data handling, modeling and an understanding of pipelines and integration processes.
• Experience with Martech platforms and tools, especially:
• Adobe Experience Platform / Adobe CDP
• SAS (SAS RTDM / SAS CI)
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Or equivalent market tools.
• Solid experience with Azure cloud and data architecture.
• Strong analytical skills for optimization and resolution of complex problems.
• Experience with data security, privacy, auditing and data quality.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, PostgreSQL, Informatica PowerCenter, IDMC, Azure Data Factory (ADF), MongoDB, Kafka and GA4.
• Familiarity with modern development tools and applied AI across the engineering cycle.
