Owns the business development for U.S. Army tactical data link communications lifecycle.
Builds a robust, multi-year pipeline.
Qualifies and shapes opportunities within the Army through direct customer engagement at all echelons.
Works closely with U.S. Government customers Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) to develop teaming agreements and integration of L3Harris Communications systems onto their offerings.
Develops and maintains deep intimacy with DoW, with specific focus on major Army program management offices and science and technology communities to include the Army Research Laboratory, Aviation and Missile Center, and the C5ISR Center.
Provides thought leadership on ways the U.S. Army should approach continuous transformation of command and control capabilities for Army Aviation (manned and unmanned) in support of the Army’s NGC2 efforts.
Leveraging L3Harris rich capabilities to deliver integrated, high speed, open-architecture resilient communications and networking solutions to achieve full spectrum dominance, specifically focusing on U.S. Army related solutions.
Frequent coordination with your L3Harris counterparts who lead accounts with customers across the U.S. Army to ensure fluid customer engagement and that our value to the warfighter across domains and solutions drives interoperability, commonality, affordability to enable the Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) environment.
Engages effectively across all levels and ranks of our government and industry partner organizations.
Coordinates with P&L leads to align strategic direction and customer needs; works closely with business execution team to ensure a clear, coordinated customer messaging.
Scales from tactical to strategic, and back, to deliver near term results while also keeping an overall focus on long term solutions and positioning.
Builds coalitions of supporters, coaches, and champions to advance captures and drive opportunity closure and speed to market.

This position will execute business development activities (campaign, individual pursuits, and the associated strategy) in the following areas: Strategic development of advanced and resilient communications capabilities for U.S. Army, and other DoW and interagency components; Customer engagement with prime platform partner contractors and Government agencies; Partner engagement with industry peers and small business.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
Related work experience is defined as military or Department of Defense business development, engineering or program management environment OR equivalent military / civilian experience.
5 years of experience working with the U.S. Army Community resource sponsors, requirements organizations and/or acquisition commands.
Must be able to travel, domestically and internationally, as needed (about 30% of the time).
