Role Overview
- Prepare monthly General Ledger (GL) reconciliations
- Maintain the Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) register and record monthly depreciation
- Post bi-monthly payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll-related bank payments
- Prepare and submit sales tax filings to federal and provincial authorities
- Execute month-end close activities
- Support and participate in external audits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- At least 3 years of experience in a comparable accounting role
- Bilingual in French and English (spoken, written, and read)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills
- Experience with accounting and financial systems such as Great Plains, JD Edwards (JDE), SAP, and BlackLine
