Assess, design, and implement CDI programs at inpatient facilities
Partner with physicians, HIM teams, and clinical staff to drive documentation accuracy and compliance
Collaborate with our internal revenue cycle team to identify opportunities for DRG optimization, reduce under-coding, and maximize appropriate inpatient reimbursement
Work directly with our engineering team to translate CDI and DRG workflow expertise into product requirements, test features, and shape the roadmap of our proprietary CDI tool
Travel to community hospitals and healthcare organizations to offer clients hands-on support

Requirements
3 years of CDI experience in an inpatient acute care setting
CCDS, CDIP, or equivalent certification strongly preferred
Strong working knowledge of MS-DRG and APR-DRG methodology
Experience presenting to and educating physician and clinical audiences
Ability to translate clinical domain expertise into practical product feedback
Prior consulting or multi-facility experience strongly preferred
Strong analytics/data science skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
Take initiative to complete tasks rapidly and accurately
Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Willingness to travel to client sites (10-15%)
