Support accessibility compliance efforts by evaluating applications and systems to ensure adherence to Section 508 standards and accessibility guidelines.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand, gather, and document business requirements.
Design, configure, and build Pega applications, including case management, workflows, user interfaces, and business logic using Pega tools (App Studio, Dev Studio).
Implement integration points with databases, web services (REST/SOAP), and legacy systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
Perform unit and integration testing, debug applications, and support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet quality standards and performance requirements.
Create and maintain documentation of application design, configurations, and system changes.
Ensure all work adheres to Pega development best practices and guardrails, and actively participate in team meetings and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (~4-6 relevant applicable working experience)
3–5+ years of experience in accessibility testing or QA.
Performing accessibility testing of applications using automated and manual tools
Identifying and documenting accessibility issues based on Section 508 and WCAG standards
Supporting remediation efforts by working with development teams
Validating fixes and ensuring compliance with accessibility requirements
Preparing accessibility compliance reports and documentation
Collaboration with QA and development teams to integrate accessibility into testing processes
Knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG 2.0/2.1 standards
Experience with Accessibility testing tools (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, Axe, Wave)
