Drive commercial, quality and client outcomes, ensuring every commission meets HKA’s expectations for delivery excellence.
Manage, coach and develop junior team members, helping to build a strong pipeline of talent and capability across the business.
Own and strengthen client relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor, and identifying opportunities to introduce wider HKA services.
Support business development efforts, contributing to bids and proposals, attending professional events, and acting as a brand ambassador.
Identify and mitigate commercial risks, supporting budgeting, monitoring commission performance and contributing to strong financial management.
Requirements
A relevant technical qualification (degree or equivalent) or higher-education certificate, with the ability to obtain jurisdiction-specific certifications where required.
A relevant postgraduate qualification (preferred).
10+ years’ experience in a similar role within the engineering and construction industry or related professional services environment.
Demonstrated experience identifying, developing and securing fee-earning work.
Membership of a relevant professional body, with willingness to obtain any additional accreditations for service delivery.
Strong leadership capability, with a track record of developing teams and managing complex commissions.
Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills.
