Junior Designer, Creative AI

Role Overview

• As a Junior Designer (m/f/d) in the MCI AI Studio, you will contribute to the visual development of projects with a focus on creative AI workflows.
• Together with your team, you will explore new ways for storytelling, design and technology to come together.
• Visual creator with an AI focus: You will work with tools such as Midjourney, Veo and other AI systems to develop visuals, style frames, motion modules and world-building assets.
• Idea generator and implementer: You will support visual concepts from the initial moodboard to the final result and actively contribute your own ideas.
• Co-creator of new workflows: You will develop new ways of working with the team, document learnings and help establish standards for AI-assisted production.
• Part of a growing studio: You will be part of the MCI AI Studio from the start and help shape how Creative AI is used and evolves at MCI.

Requirements

• Completed training or degree in Communication Design, Media Design, Graphic Design or a related field
• Some initial experience in design or a strong interest in specializing in Creative AI
• Enthusiasm for AI tools and willingness to grow in a fast-changing environment
• Confident use of common design tools
• Very good written and spoken English
• Curiosity, hunger to learn and openness to new technologies and ways of working
• Team player with clear communication skills and a willingness to give and receive feedback
• Willingness to travel
• Plus: additional experience in Motion Design or moving image is an advantage
• A good sense for visual storytelling and dramaturgy
• Understanding of social media platforms and content formats
• Interest in art direction, branding and visual identities
