Management of internal monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting by working closely with various departments such as other finance teams.
Produce corporate expense results and forecasts.
Analyze and understand results in collaboration with business partners.
Support our business units in the management of their operational expenses.
Participate in the financial systems and accounting processes improvement initiatives.
Participate in the general expenses budget process.
Simplify, automate, standardize and increase controls of different work files.
Requirements
Professional designation CPA or CFA either completed or in progress – is required.
1 to 3 years experience as a financial analyst – is required.
Advanced proficiency using Excel and Power BI – is required.
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Fast learning, agility, openness to technological improvements and adaptability to change.
Knowledge of the P&C insurance industry is an asset.
Bilingualism is required for candidates located in Quebec considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
