Close new business relationships, up-selling and driving renewals with existing customers
Engage and present ONI’s solutions to prospective customers
Identify prospective customers in academia, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries using database searches, publications, social media, Salesforce, Linkedin Sales Navigator, customer references, website enquiries and events
Convert leads from Marketing generated via online enquiries and post event follow-ups to sales opportunities and managing the sales funnel to ensure completion of sale
Identify need and deploying Field Application Team to ensure successful demonstrations of ONI’s technology and products to prospective customers
Develop and execute sales strategy and provide feedback on effectiveness to Sales Leadership in order to improve sales process
Ensure accurate data capture of prospective and lost sales opportunities, customer interactions, demonstration outcomes, and market feedback on CRM (Saleforce) to enable decision making based on real time market information
Represent voice of customer internally to Marketing and Customer Success teams, providing market feedback to influence strategy and product development
Create product awareness through events and support marketing campaigns
Requirements
Sales experience in the capital equipment, consumables, or service contracts industries.
Proven record of closed business relationships.
Ability to use Salesforce and Linkedin Sales Navigator effectively.
Technical understanding of ONI’s technology and applications in the academic and pharmaceutical sectors.
Ability to present ONI’s solutions to diverse audiences.
