Accountable for the performance, oversight and reporting of the Gas Transmission turbomachinery fleet.
Primary turbomachinery interface for Gas Transmission Operations.
Provide direct operational technical support for equipment troubleshooting, reliability improvements and facility support (including but not limited to, turbomachinery performance calculations, diagnostic troubleshooting, vibration analysis, ancillary systems and root cause failure analysis).
Manage equipment fleet run hours, reliability objectives and efficiency optimization.
Oversee turbomachinery vendor support and troubleshooting.
Provide technical and commissioning support for maintenance capital and expansion projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Registered member as a P. Eng. with EGBC (in British Columbia) or APEGA (in Alberta).
Minimum 10 years of turbomachinery experience in gas transmission with at least 7 years of direct field experience.
Proven technical experience with gas generators, power turbines and gas compressors.
Excellent personal management capability, including time and priority management, organization and accountability-based management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and digital literacy.
A valid driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required.
