Provide entry-level support for domestic compensation programs; including determining appropriate base pay amounts, salary survey participation, job evaluations, market pricing, and administering basic compensation programs.
You assist with preparing regular and ad hoc compensation reports as necessary and help respond to issue escalations from the service center as assigned by collaborating with peers to conduct research, investigate inquiries, and provide resolution.
As the Compensation Analyst I, you participate in salary surveys, prepare files for automated salary matching, and validate the accuracy of market composites.
You assist in the preparation of analyses to evaluate adjustments to salary structures and merit matrices and support performing job evaluations to market price positions, utilizing a variety of salary surveys to recommend the appropriate grade and FLSA status for positions across the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources or related field and one (1) year experience in compensation or related field; OR High School Diploma and four (4) years’ experience in compensation or related field, plus one (1) year of human resources experience, or professional-level operations experience, including significant human resources work.
General human resources and/or compensation knowledge required including compliance with state and federal laws.
Strong problem solving, communication, and writing skills.
Detail oriented and well organized.
Confident to work independently but a strong team player.
Strong MS Office skills including Word and Excel.
