Responsible for generating and closing sales of Red Hat and Adobe technologies and services within an assigned Federal territory
Identifying and developing new business opportunities for account growth
Creates and manages customer and territory strategies for successful sales results
Develops, owns, and maintains positive relationships with key decision makers in IT management
Prepares and leads sales presentations showcasing technical solutions and product offerings
Works closely with internal account team members and sales leadership to manage territory sales plans
Collaborates with marketing teams for lead generation and marketing activities
Works independently and develops solutions with complexity and scope
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
1+ years of technical sales experience
Experience using and maintaining a CRM system
Support territory based working hours while located outside of assigned territory
Track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals
Experience working in a consultative manner with customers, vendors and technical staff in developing technology sales solutions
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Expertise in developing and maintaining successful customer and vendor relationships
Ability to balance strategic and tactical sales skills
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and achieve success for customers
