Perform engineering analysis and design for overhead transmission lines
Prepare construction packages including plan & profile drawings
Utilize industry-standard software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, PLS-TOWER
Support project lifecycle activities including scope development, cost estimating, scheduling, and field support
Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and guidelines
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
Provide engineering support during construction
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards
Identify and mitigate site issues
Interact with customer’s internal engineers and technical experts
Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
2 years of relevant experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
Understanding of transmission line design principles
Experience with CAD or engineering design tools
Familiarity with PLS-CADD strongly preferred
Currently working towards Professional Engineer (PE) License is a plus
Experience with high-voltage transmission projects (69–500 kV)
Familiarity with NESC, ASCE 48, ASCE 10, and utility design standards
Field experience supporting construction or inspections
Familiarity with utility transmission standards
Self-motivated
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Experience on full EPC, Design/Build projects from start to finish
Owner’s Engineering experience
Experience with retrofit or brown field projects
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
