About this role
Role Overview
- Provide strategic support to the SUSTAIN Project in advancing security and community safety.
- Ensure project activities addressing SALW control and violence prevention remain aligned with national legal frameworks.
- Offer timely technical advice and risk analysis to anticipate threats.
- Support building local capacities for SALW control and Safe Zone implementation.
- Guide participatory research and knowledge documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations, Peace and Conflict Studies, or related discipline;
- At least 8–12 years of progressively responsible experience in peacebuilding, community safety, or related security/normalization programming;
- Experience in multi-stakeholder coordination involving government, security actors, civil society or international partners;
- Practical knowledge of SALW control frameworks or conflict-sensitive governance;
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and facilitation in multi-stakeholder processes;
- Strong analytical writing and presentation skills in English.
