Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture vision and roadmap for Order Management and related O2C capabilities.
Align architecture strategies with business goals, digital transformation initiatives, and technology standards.
Define target-state architectures, capability models, and transition strategies for order management systems and supporting platforms.
Lead the design of scalable, high-performance Order Management (OM) solutions across platforms such as Oracle OM, SAP SD/OMS, Salesforce OMS, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or similar technologies.
Provide architectural oversight on system enhancements, integrations, cloud migrations, upgrades, and new solution deployments.
Ensure architectural consistency, performance, scalability, and security across all order management components.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand order fulfillment workflows, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
Work closely with application teams, integration teams, data architects, and enterprise architects to ensure cohesive solutions.
Influence leadership and stakeholders through clear communication of architectural decisions and trade-offs.
Design end-to-end integrations between order management systems and CRM, ERP, WMS, TMS, eCommerce, POS, and financial systems.
Establish standards for data quality, data modeling, master data management (MDM), and system interoperability.
Ensure real-time data synchronization for inventory accuracy, order status visibility, fulfillment orchestration, and customer notifications.
Establish architectural standards, guidelines, patterns, and governance processes for OM and O2C systems.
Conduct architecture reviews, assess solution proposals, and manage technical risk across programs and projects.
Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and enterprise technology frameworks.
Assess and optimize order processing performance, system stability, and throughput.
Identify opportunities to streamline order flows, reduce manual touchpoints, and implement automation or AI-driven improvements.
Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and platforms to enhance future-state capabilities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar field.
8–12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or technical leadership roles.
Deep expertise with Order Management (OMS) processes, O2C lifecycle, and fulfillment operations.
Hands-on experience designing or implementing platforms such as Infios OM, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, IBM Sterling, or similar.
Strong understanding of integration patterns (REST, SOAP, APIs, EDI, event-driven, microservices).
Demonstrated ability to define target architectures, roadmaps, and transformation strategies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
