About this role
Role Overview
- Assist in producing CRS and FATCA reporting within the Tax Reporting team
- Contribute to the preparation, development and review of tax reports
- Review all tax-relevant data in the modules for the target countries
- Monitor data quality and perform data cleansing in the systems
- Review externally prepared client tax reports
- Continuously review tax reporting processes and drive process improvements
- Support data quality control activities
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external client relationship managers
- Implement new tax regulations into systems and processes in cooperation with Business Analysts
- Contribute to the development of the department
- Maintain acquisition data in the core banking system
- Participate in tax compliance projects across the banking group
- Undertake ad hoc projects
Requirements
- Professional experience in tax reporting or tax reclaim
- Knowledge of operational workflows within the tax department of a banking group
- Knowledge of securities (Wertpapiere) is an advantage
- Experience in preparing, developing and reviewing tax reports
- Experience with data quality control
- Analytical and conceptual thinker with strong attention to detail
- Independent, focused working style
- Team-oriented with assertiveness
- Proactive, committed personality with initiative
- Strong interest in problem solving
- Flexible approach and articulate communication skills
- IT affinity and user-level knowledge of standard tax software
- MS Office proficiency
- German and English
