Collaborate with team members to gather business requirements and design data models.
Build trust in all interactions and deliver the most complete, reliable, and accurate data for the company.
Design, develop, and extend ETL code and data pipelines to grow the Enterprise Data Lake.
Create and maintain architecture and system documentation.
Keep master datasets or data products up to date in the Data Catalog to support self-service analytics and a single source of truth.
Develop code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale data environment. Uphold and promote these standards through code reviews.
Approve changes to data models as a Data Team Reviewer and take ownership of specific datasets and data model schemas.
Share expertise in data modeling and transformation across iFood teams through code reviews, pair programming, and training to help deliver optimized, scalable dataset and data product designs and queries in Databricks.
Requirements
Willingness to learn new things every day.
Proficiency with SQL, Python, and Spark.
Excellent communication: regularly reaching consensus between technical and business teams.
Proven ability to communicate complex business activities, technical requirements, and recommendations clearly and concisely.
2+ years in Data roles as an analyst, engineer, or equivalent.
2+ years of experience designing, implementing, operating, and extending enterprise data models (dimensional or otherwise).
2+ years working with large-scale databases or data warehouses, preferably in a cloud environment.
Technical English.
Preferred: Experience with Databricks, Airflow, and AWS.
