Steer and continuously evolve the application portfolio, including integrations, interfaces, and as‑is / target IT landscapes.
Develop and maintain enterprise and application architecture, including vision, principles, standards, and roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
Define and enforce architecture governance, conduct architecture reviews, and ensure consistency and sustainability across the architecture lifecycle.
Maintain and develop the Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) system and related architecture documentation.
Provide architectural leadership for transformation and modernization initiatives, including integrated and AI‑enabled end‑to‑end solutions.
Collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders, including solution, data, and process architects, to support digitalization initiatives.
Evaluate application, integration, and data architecture solutions from an enterprise perspective and ensure alignment with the data strategy.
Communicate architecture concepts and decisions clearly to operational teams, management, and external partners.
Requirements
Degree in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Several years of experience in Enterprise Architecture and/or Application Architecture within complex IT environments.
Strong expertise in application portfolio management, system landscapes, and integration architectures.
Proven experience in defining, assessing, and evolving as‑is, target, and transition architectures.
Solid understanding of architecture governance, principles, standards, and enterprise‑wide best practices.
Good knowledge of data architecture and data management, with the ability to align application architecture to an enterprise data strategy.
Hands‑on experience with EAM tools (e.g. BlueDolphin) and structured documentation of architecture artifacts.
Fluent in English with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into clear, decision‑ready end‑to‑end architecture concepts (German and or Spanish in addition is a plus).
