Role Overview
- Responsible for the design, development, and improvement of products.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet customer needs, performance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive innovation, resolve technical issues, and oversee the product from concept through production.
- Develop and refine product designs, considering functionality, user experience, aesthetics, and manufacturability.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prototype testing to validate design concepts.
- Collaborate on or contribute to control algorithms, motor control, sensor fusion, and real-time system behavior.
- Support schematic design, component selection, PCB integration, and electrical system validation.
- Identify and address design and engineering issues, implementing solutions to improve product performance and reliability.
- Prepare technical documentation and user manuals for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose improvements where appropriate.
Requirements
- Knowledge in Engineering / Computer Science, or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in product engineering or a related role, preferably in the maritime industry
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
